Best Summer Festivals

Spoiler: it's not fucking Tomorrowland.

Traditional Festivals are an excellent way to visit a destination and squeeze the most juice from its culture.

Usually, they land in weird dates around the year, and you can't make it out there.

However, there are a few that take place in Summer, so you literally have no excuse.

Nadaam Festival in Mongolia: the best time to visit the infamous steppes of this Central Asian giant. Nomad games that take place over 2 days and showcase the best sports, arts and crafts this great nation has to offer. We'll pair it up with the Altai mountains and their famous Eagle Hunters, for the best Mongolian combo. July 5-12th.

Mt Hagen Festival in Papua New Guinea: Papua is its own universe. Hundreds of ethnic groups, dialects and cultures. Mt Hagen is the most famous tribal gathering in the country, where many groups from across the nation come to perform and compete in a dancing and singing competition. We'll pair it up with Boungainville, the World's next newest country. August 14th-21st.

Both these Expeditions are almost sold out and only have a couple of spots left.

The rest of our Summer Expeditions are sold out already, so this is your last chance to create some epic stories in July and August with Wander Expeditions.
